Last month, on June 15th and 16th, Marcum held its annual Microcap Conference in New York City. There were 2,200 attendees, 140 presenting companies and over 1,800 confirmed one-on-one meetings.
David Bukzin, Marcum’s vice chairman and leader of the Firm’s national SEC Services practice, as well as its New York City office, said, “The Marcum MicroCap Conference has grown to become a highlight of the year on the annual microcap community calendar. The conference continues to grow every year, and interest was especially high this year in step with the post-election run-up of the market. We had 12 tracks of company presentations, nine expert panels, non-stop one-on-one meetings, a great keynote luncheon with two of the most prominent public speakers in the country, outstanding sponsors, a kick-off cocktail party, and a gala reception. It was a jam-packed two days, and I think everyone left feeling that it was a very worthwhile expenditure of their time and resources. We already have sponsors and companies lining up for next year.”
The Marcum MicroCap Conference is presented by Marcum LLP, a top national accounting and advisory firm and the #7 ranked SEC practice in the U.S. Since its launch in 2012, this event has become a nationally recognized forum for publicly traded companies with less than $500 million in market capitalization to network with fund managers and high net worth investors who focus on small cap equities. More than 2,000 participants from all segments of the microcap market attend the Marcum MicroCap Conference each year.
